Globe Team Inaugurate Doble Skateboards miniramp

The US Globe Team made of Chris Haslam, Rodney Mullen, Eero Antilla and Ryan Decenzo came abroad for a European tour between London and Grenoble, Madrid and Germany.

But before moving on with a demo between London and Crolles, Haute Loire provided them with a pleasant change of scenery. Indeed, in Doble Skateboards’ headquarters, they enjoyed a nice, old school, private party with the inauguration of the new Mini ramp by the team, a concert, local drink and food for everybody! Huge choc for the team who ended up in the middle of nowhere, eating chicory salad and lentil, and drinking home-made punch and beer. The team really appreciated the atmosphere and the opportunity to enjoy a simple and pleasant time.

But it did not prevent Antilla, Decenzo and Haslam from kicking the Mini’s ass and baptising it as expected! You’d better check out the video if you don’t trust me!!

On the next morning, Globe team was not in a hurry to leave as they really felt like home at Doble’s, in this beautiful setting, right in the middle of the Auvergne Volcanoes. That might probably explain why they were late for their demo in Crolles.
