Men’s class came last, and the show was unreal. The large crowd watching the finals (Nearly 5000 people!) created a very special atmosphere not often seen in kayaking. It was show time for boys, and at that game Nick Troutman simply destroyed the competition by getting over 1500 points from his first ride!! From then on it was almost unrealistic for anyone else to get the same scores- E J came close, so did Stephen Wright but a few moves were missing in their routine today to catch up Nick’s incredible ride. A very well deserved gold medal goes to Nick, given the consistency of his rides throughout the week.
