The BMX Worlds Dirt Contest became all American affair at the top, with Athony Napolitan taking the World Title, followed by compatriots Ryan Nyquist and Rob Darden in second & third respectively. Francisco Jimenez expressed dissatisfaction with his earlier performance by stripping off and streaking through the trails, in an attempt to sway the judges. Did it work? ...he got 16th place
